Artist Mille Kalsmose approached Juan Alfaro to develop her project from design through final fabrication. Working closely with Kalsmose, JAD brought her artistic vision to life, employing both old-world techniques like manual rolling and modern methods such as 3D modeling and waterjet cutting to execute the precision interlocking frames of each sculptural piece. The final work was patinated with a custom finish, achieving a lightly weathered appearance.
