This stair and stainless steel handrail are a stark example of minimalism where form and function mesh seamlessly. JAD achieved the coil like quality of the handrail and its continuous progression by bending continuous multiple arcs at each transition to follow the change in pitch at each of the winder portions of the staircase. The result, a continuous flow of handrail with a perfect hand-feel throughout the run of the staircase.
